Grant in Aid : It is a project undertaken by Art and Culture Department to provide low cost cultural/traditional articles to the public in subsidized rate, since these articles are quite expensive and are not afforded by common people. Application in prescribed form can be had from Directorate of Art and Culture Deptt. during office hour. |

Institute of Music and Fine Arts : An institute set up by Art and Culture Deptt. department to propagate the art of traditional dances/songs and practices and modern music. 3 Months Training on the said subjects are conducted annually by the department. Application form and Prospectus can be had from Directorate of Art and Culture Deptt, during office hour and www.mizoculture.mizoram.gov.in |

Mizoram Publication Board : Art and Culture Department constituted this board to provide FINANCIAL assistance to needy authors/writers for publishing their books by giving 75% of printing charge. Application in prescribed form can be had from the department during office hour. |

Multi Purpose Cultural Complex, Beraw tlang, Aizawl : A cultural complex comprising of Air conditioned Auditorium and 3 storeys dormitories is set up at Beraw tlang, Aizawl for organizing various functions such as - Exhibition, seminar, workshop, symposiums etc. The complex can be hired by paying tariffs fixed by the department. |

Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation, Kolkota : To upgrade urban and rural libraries, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India provided FUNDSfor construction of library building and distribution of books to libraries through Raja Ram mohan Roy Library Foundation, Kolkota to Art and Culture Deptt. FUNDS are distributed by the department to various urban and rural areas. Application in writing have to be submitted to Art and Culture Department for assistance. |

13th/14th FINANCE Commission: Government of India provided FUNDS for preservation/conservation and renovation of cultural heritage sites within the state. Under this project funds are allocated for preservation/conservation/renovation and construction of approach road to various heritage sites. Anybody can submit proposal for the above said purpose in writing to Director, Art and Culture Department for consideration. |
